The real drone solution is to arm almost everyone in the squad with 12ga shotguns loaded with 3” birdshot. Then a couple guys can have an AR or SAW for the sparse incidents of human-human combat. And drones show up on thermal so night fighting drones can be done with thermal scopes. Training will need to change too, we’re not training room clearing anymore, military training will basically just be skeet and trap shooting competitions from now on.
