If chambered for .300BLK like the original concept for that magazine, most likely. Though it would probably be a very fun and loud blaster. Potentially though, something like this could be used to make somewhat slimmer grips for long Magnum cartridges such as .45 WinMag and .50 Action Express, and then also optimizing a bit for barrel length.

I think OP's idea might have some merit.

It would be around 5-10% more powerful than 7.5 with a 6" barrel and that gap would increase with barrel length. The biggest problem would be dealing with the bullets unseating, that's a lot of distance to cover in a short amount of time. Maybe some kind of clockwork could be added to limit the cycling speed.

Maybe there's another way to do it, but what we need here is to apply an unchanged amount of power over an increased period of time, and an escape wheel is the mechanical linkage that's designed to do just that.

A beretta 90 series with a plastic frame and a steel frame with the option of adding tungsten inserts. The cyclic mass of the slide is reduced as much as possible to decrease the effect of the slide on muzzle rise. I would also move the decocker back to the frame. The gun would be DA/SA decocker only or SA manual safety.
Holes would be dripped in the frame for an optic rail above the slide.
Basically a CZ-75 beretta 90 series. options would also include porting, threading, and frame mounted compensators

Anonymous No.64453304 [Report]
>>64453156
it doesn't have a buffer tube. bufferless DI guns exist, there's nothing about a DI gas system that necessitates a buffer tube. picrel, cmmg dissent DI carrier.
if you really want to, you could make the carrier larger in diameter so it has the same mass as a normal AR carrier.

is there a meaningful difference between 50 beo and the 12.7 cartridge it already uses?
also why not use 500 magnum instead? the rebated rim of .50 beo would make the cylinder janky.
also it performs basically the same as 500 magnum
Anonymous No.64454226 [Report] >>64455693
>muzzle loaded
>integral suppressor
>6 o' clock barrel
>quick swap cylinder
fun fact: suppressors on muzzle loaders are not regulated by the NFA,
because muzzle loaders themselves are not considered firearms
(silencerco maxim 50 for example)
therefore, you could theoretically ship a suppressed muzzle loaded revolver directly to your door, totally unregulated.
with a quick swap cylinder, it would reload faster than a normal revolver.
probably as fast as a normal mag fed pistol.

thats just a little cam on the trigger that pushes the spring loaded cylinder forwards. 0 extra parts required,
the cylinder would already have to be spring loaded so that it can eject when reloading, like a double barrel shotgun.

is this meant to be mag fed from the top?
why does the oprod go into that magwell shaped thing? that doesn't make any sense.
also i'm pretty sure you scaled the picrail incorrectly, it looks way too big.
i also don't see an ejection port anywhere.
that box on the left is for a belt, right?
how does it feed? there are no feed palls.
i notice you have a foregrip angled to the right, so presumeably this is meant for a left-handed shooter.
however, it is impossible to get a cheekweld as a lefty because of that giant protrusion on the right side of the stock.
it also looks like you didn't model the bolt at all, the inside of the receiver is just a void.
based on the charging handle position, the bolt would have to be fully forward and locked for that to make sense.

just a lot of weird shit going on

Its mag fed and belt fed
The operating system is offset thats why it goes into the mag
the picrail is scaled right its just 5.56 with a 10" barrel
the ejection port is at the bottom right in front of the trigger guard
the foregrip is for the quick change barrel mechanism
The bolt isnt modeled yes
