I remember seeing this on the Varusteleka website and thinking how cool it looked.

The dangler pouch is too much, needs a compass pouch. Otherwise, very tastefully done.

Whatever this guy hacked together for a modular LBE that makes actual sense.

I tried building my own version using an eagle h harness and ATAPS I kludged together, it wasn't comfortable. May have to try a different split right and harness for better results.

Eagle Harnesses were great a base. The Ranger green one?

That's a good start, it's much sturdier than a Camelbak.
From what Anon said, integrating the chest components was the hardest part. IIRC he also said the Camelbak was a good choice for light loads but the straps and belt weren't really up to the task.
This is his chest components joined together, I don't remember what they're built on. Maybe side plate bags or cumberbund components?

I've attempted it as well with a MOLLE SMERSH rig, and the chest is the hardest part 100%. I cut a Parashooter Gear type 81M in half and made it a split rig, then hanged it from the shoulder straps like a placard. It worked fine but wasn't comfortable at all. Ended up just getting a SADF Pattern 83 in DPM and it's been pretty much perfect. Absolute opposite of modular, but it's able to hold everything I need and more while be being comfortable.

I really wish he'd posted a more complete build list and some proximal photos.
