Not particularly, except for the ounce as it's a pretty neat little thing both aesthetically and mechanically. That and FRTs

I'm excited about shooting. I want to be excited about new gun releases, but every time they say 'hey we got a new gun here' you go to look and it's literally the same shit that's already on the shelves. It's a mature technology there ain't much new about it, just enjoy it for what it is.

It's wild to me that being stronger, healthier, less sore, and more attractive isn't enough incentive to get people into staying in shape. People want to be miserable, fat and stupid. You can't help them.

the funko pop analogy was spot on. people who have more guns than they can realistically use in a practical situation are the same kind of manchildren, who hoard toys that they never actually play with and only keep them around to show off to other manchildren.

They cave into animalistic instincts more than those who can control their food intake. Their primitive brains tell them to gorge at every opportunity. Their primitive brains also tell them to do nothing in order to preserve "energy."
No different than any animal in captivity with unlimited food and nothing to do

Funko pops hold no value, at least collecting guns (which I don't) retain their value. Seems like poorfag sour grapes when someone else has the disposable income to collect things. Owning an old sports car also has no practical value, but it's cool if you're into that kind of thing.

No because I'm poor and a NEET.
I know a guy who spend their entire paycheck on guns. Its' like people these days don't understand the concept of moderation. I get liking guns as a hobby because I like all types of guns myself but my space and my money is extremely limited. I can't justify buying the next Not-A-Glock everytime.

Anonymous No.64496736 [Report]
Not anymore. They’re all sidegrades or clones of pre-existing designs. I am excited though anytime a new high-pressure cartridge is released. I think we’ll get a full suite of them in the coming years, and maybe purpose-built guns designed to handle those new rounds. That should be interesting.

Post COVID I just don't have the kind of money I used to have for hobbies. They either want you single with hobbies or married with kids and no spare money at all.

It's rough out there these days. I still shoot, but man is the future looking bleak.

i can't fathom how and why people grow beards. they're itchy, they make the skin hot and humid, causing dermatitis or acne, and they get dirty whenever you eat or drink or sneeze. plus they look absolutely uncivil and unkempt, a man with a beard is a man who's too lazy to shave, in my eyes.

And in order to take full advantage of it you have to load it to pressures ARs can't handle. And the AR has to be longer, and the gas needs to be shut off so the gun doesn't come off target as much during cycling, actually just chuck the gas tube entirely so you can lower the sight height over bore. Well looky here! We just made a bolt action in 6 creed or 6 dasher. Shiet.

gotta start reloading and switching to the cheaper calibers. I went back to 7 rem mag from 7 prc; brass costs more than twice as much for the prc and at best you're getting 4-5 less drift at 1000 yards out of the same barrel length (I don't care about drop)

Regarding itchiness, there’s a certain length at which that happens. But beyond that, you don’t feel anything, just warmth.
