I'm excited about shooting. I want to be excited about new gun releases, but every time they say 'hey we got a new gun here' you go to look and it's literally the same shit that's already on the shelves. It's a mature technology there ain't much new about it, just enjoy it for what it is.

I know a guy who spend their entire paycheck on guns. Its' like people these days don't understand the concept of moderation. I get liking guns as a hobby because I like all types of guns myself but my space and my money is extremely limited. I can't justify buying the next Not-A-Glock everytime.

Not anymore. They’re all sidegrades or clones of pre-existing designs. I am excited though anytime a new high-pressure cartridge is released. I think we’ll get a full suite of them in the coming years, and maybe purpose-built guns designed to handle those new rounds. That should be interesting.

Post COVID I just don't have the kind of money I used to have for hobbies. They either want you single with hobbies or married with kids and no spare money at all.

It's rough out there these days. I still shoot, but man is the future looking bleak.
