It should be used for all the same purposes that 9mm is used today (that is, both subcompact and full size recoil operated guns with relatively low recoil and relatively high capacity)
Unfortunately this world belongs to Satan and that is why we cannot have nice things, and that is why things can never make sense, and that is why most people are NPCs who choose 9mm.

Eh, I think .380 should have been skipped entirely unless you're a .45 guy, because as I recall, JMB basically downsized the 45acp to make the .380.
I think 32acp for small guns, 9mm for not so small guns works perfectly, but, if you're a bigger guy, replace 32 with 380 and 9mm for 45.

the Walther PPK (James Bond's gun) did not get manufactured in 9mm. It got manufactured in "9mm short." 9mm short is also known as .380. In other words, you're asking for proof that James Bond's gun was lethal.

Cheetahs are not full sized handguns and their barrel will not fit in any full size beretta handgun or any full size clone; they don't even fit is some cheetah clones.
Converting a 90 series beretta (M9 and fully sized) into reliable .380 would require a barrel, a recoil spring, and mag follower. All of which would have to be fabricated because no conversion currently exists.
You can run regular .380 inside a lot of full sized 9mm pistols with no modifications but it rarely cycles.

it must've bounced around in his skull and gained velocity ricocheting and then when it exited through the back of his skull struck the fuel tank, it probably was moving at 2,700fps on the exit wound.

It was probably the grenade he dropped into his lap when Bond shot him. I'm still mad they never gave Bond his 4th gun in the movies, they skipped right to number 5. Canonically he had the 25, then a 32, at some point it became 380, then an ASP we've never gotten to see in a movie, then the P99, a single PPK/S for about 30 seconds, then back to the superior 32ACP PPK from ever since. So where's our Bond with ASP movie, Hollywood? Faggots.

I'll be honest anon, after putting a couple thousand rounds through mine without a single issue I'm just bored of it. It's reliable, it's so light and small I forget it's in my pocket, it's so comfy and easy to shoot well, it's just so boring having a gun that works perfectly and melds into my hookers-n-debt lifestyle effortlessly.
I like my .380 ppk even if its not really the best at anything. I just love the look and I put thicker wood grips on it that really improved the feel of it in my hands.
I actually switched to 380 because of this gun. I was the only one on the range and the range officer told me he just bought it and loved it and let me shoot it. Impressed me so much I stopped at the local gun shop and bought one on my drive home. It's just so fucking comfortable to carry and easy to shoot. Even at 25 yards which no realistic self defense would happen at you can easily mag dump it on a torso sized target or taking time to aim hit headshots. It holds 10 or 12+1 and is so fucking light and slim I can even carry it when I run to the store in pajamas because I'm being lazy.

It's so fucking good I have to stop myself from spamming it and just stick to replies. It's so fucking good. I love small guns and I've had a shitload and God DAMN there is nothing else like the BG2.0 at this size. Makes the LCP Max feel like a Hi-Point in my opinion but I know a lot of people think they're actual competitors. I assume those people don't have trigger fingers. I can very confidently say it's the best gun I've ever comfortably pocket carried, by a wide margin. It displaced my P32 as my most frequently carried. Over 2k rounds without issue so far.

I'm going to rape and decapitate the next motherfucker to cite Elefritz. The methodology is all kinds of fucked and retarded leading to data that's worthless, yet mouthbreathers who don't understand stats and how you can lie with them will repeat it like gospel
I agree it's a fantastic gun but I want to be honest about potential issues. There is a ramp issue where some have a lip which causes feeding issues. I checked the one I bought to make sure it didn't have it. However, my sights were EXTREMELY off to the point I almost think someone at their factory is intentionally making them off. However once I got the sights aligned it's run flawlessly and never had a single failure. I got it intending it to be a "summer gun" but it's just become my general daily carry. Favorite gun I own.
Diane Foxington is hotter than Loona. I'm not a bot, but I might have worded that awkwardly. I was trying to say that I had an issue with sight alignment that was significant to the point of the gun almost being unusable until I fixed it but I never had a single mechanical failure.

I forgot mine had the fucked up sight, too, everyone did at first I hope they've stopped doing that shit. It was bad, but an easy fix of course. I've heard about the feedramp lip thing and mine totally has it, and I've never done anything about it, no issues, makes me wonder if some are worse than others and mine only "barely" has it or if it's just ammo-dependent or what.

What would be the best load for coyotes?? I'm in a suburban neighborhood and I live on the edge of the woods, so naturally I'm worried about coyotes attacking my dogs. What would be a good handgun and .380 load for that purpose. It's not something to carry all the time, just something to take outside at night.
>>64502492
I can with 2 words: Sampling Bias. Compared to the hundreds of shootings for 9, 40, and 45 (which conflates police, military, and civilian data, a whole different can of worms) there was less than 3 dozen 32 shootings. That data is statistically worthless. Moreover all the 32 shootings were contact shootings, where the shooter and suspect were basically on top of each other. This is in stark contrast to other calibers where engagement distance varied. His methodology was bad and his sampling was ass, therefore the stats are about as useful as tits on a bull
>>64502617
Woah, you're saying if I use 32 then bad-guys will consistently get within grappling distance? Holy shit I'm switching to 380 right away because that's terrifying.
For the best variety of seethe check out the original debut /k/ thread on it https://desuarchive.org/k/thread/62053127
the recoil-spring sperg is still blowing his spleen over it

Basically any hollow point you know runs reliably out of your pistol
As long as you land your shots you don't need anything particularly strong for coyotes, even if it doesn't put em down immediately there aren't many coyotes that'll take a bullet and not fuck off
