A modern, unconventional asynchronistic military think tank - comprised of the likes of a former USMC intelligence officer, a former U.S. Army Artillery officer (later turned tactical consultant; A.W.), and several reformation advocates - have solidified the case for a brilliant Russian breakthrough in the next 7 to 14 days (most likely the latter).
The Western analysts have up to this point underestimated the Russian war machine, and its ability to launch a revolutionary WINTER offensive. The impact of these tactical routes can have widespread implications, and lead to the shattering of morale across the Zelenskyy regime.

And it only took two fucking years to go from "it's gonna happen soon" to "it's gonna happen soon".

There's a lot of contested fighting and flux with small units scurrying around. Personally I stopped looking too much at the frontline maps as they've generally been a whole lot of he-said-she-said.
That whole region north of Pok was a crushing defeat for Russia with massive casualties that got caught up in 3 pockets and destroyed along with the relief forces sent to try and unfuck the situation

Yeah, that's pretty much the theme. It's a mess of interspersed fireteams that get more dense for one side or the other the deeper you go. They're trying to solidify positions up on the south side of town and get to the point where you can walk around in the open without taking direct fire, but that'll take a while to get there. They can continue to make a mess, but it'll probably be another month or so to get all their ducks in a row to actually try and properly take the town, assuming that Syrski doesn't pull the plug to try and get ahead of the shitshow that tends to come with bugging out of a town.
