Glasses are disposables, you'll want to have multiple backups so you're right in not wanting to splurge on them. Find comfy safety glasses both in clear and tinted, make sure they're ANSI Z87+ rated.
You'll see most safety glasses are just Z87.1, those are weaker and do not go through the more rigorous, extensive testing Z87+ undergoes.
You'll want that extra impact protection if say, your turkshit blows up and sends shrapnel your way.

That depends if you'll be doing most of your shooting indoors or outdoors. If indoors, you'll want both as either one by themselves won't be enough for prolonged sessions. In-ear generally has higher NRR ratings (it muffles noises better) while being more affordable due to them generally being disposable.
Earmuffs generally have lower NRR ratings while being more expensive but you can typically find them configured with electric active protection which lets you hear noises below a certain decibel without taking off the headset.
There are electric earplugs with active-protection systems but those generally run in the hundreds while the cheapest pair of electric earmuffs are probably no more than fifty Leaf Pesos.

I'd get both earplugs (box of disposables or reusable) and earmuffs with active hearing protection. You'll find one or the other better suited for certain situations while appreciating having both for particularly long/loud sessions.

The Zohan 54s work well enough for a good price. Electronic so you can amplify sound or just turn off and they last about ~6 hours. Lots of times a muff will get in the way tho so molded earplugs are pretty sweet too.
