A plane that can carry much heavier loads than conventional planes of the same size, that can safely fly hundreds of miles just feet above the water to evade radar and that can land on any piece of ocean and even on rivers in case of a technical issue, for refueling from ships, for SAR missions at sea and special operations is nothing to be sneezed at.
