Highly disagreeing. 45 Colt simply has too much powder space for modern pressures and velocities and powders. It's a waste and the gun could very well have been made that .2" shorter because it would please the autist minmaxxer chads. Starline realized this fact and created the 45 Cowboy Special, but unless the revolver is specifically chambered for it then it's not a real solution.
I wish we had a true .45 ACP cylinder revolver that was just long enough, sadly those haven't been made since forever. It could be spec'd for 45 Super and do basically all the things that 45 Colt "Magnum" does.

It’s the best but you need to thoroughly vet any 1911 and mags before (You) carry it. I’m talking like at least 1k rounds of ball ammo+some of your carry ammo to make sure it feeds and cycles without jamming.
