If the thread doesn't die keep us posted on how well it shoots anon. Make sure it's well lubed at least. I know it may cramp your brain when considering costs but maybe swap the rail for a BCM or something not as ugly? Alot of garbage rod ARs ain't so bad if you get them, disassemble them(the upper primarily), and rebuild them yourself as their major issue is build QC usually, at least with PSAs, dunno about anderson. Check to see if the castle nut is staked

The first 15 mins of this vid will be helpful to you, he discusses ammo not buffers and what to look for with ejection patterns on cheap ARs.

Cheap AR=shoot cheaper ammo that doesn't reach true M855 ball velocities. If you shoot m855 you'll be overworking your components.

Nice AR= shoot milspec velocity ammo. M855.

Also the first solution should be to mess with buffers. Slow down an overgassed AR with a heavier buffer.

Wait for the Black Friday sale and don't just buy what's in your cart already, reevaluate all their sales. You might be able to find better items for roughly the same price or huge upgrades for only a small price increase.

When you find what you want don't hesitate and sit on it because there's a thousand other people doing the same thing and good deals will sell fast.

I was able to get an 18-in stainless steel upper with a full rail, rifle length gas, sights, flash hider, adjustable gas block, upgraded bolt plus a free full-sized nylon case and 8 magazines for about $350. It's been a really great gun.
