Also the meme culture here was way more vibrant years ago, like it was the last bastion of old 4chan vibes for awhile but that seems to be dead now.
I'm kinda just a passenger though so can't complain. Possibly even the problem

I juat want to say, my life started getting much better after I hit 30. I became much mores eure in my body and relationships, i became much more fo used and driven in my career, i became more understanding of my limitations and aware of how to take care of myself. I learned how to take care of myself and see my true beauty both internal and external, and in case that's worded too subtly I started actually having lots of good sex. I still fear getting old! Early memes are kind of hard to describe, you had to be there. But things are more deeply layered and ironic now so that's fun. Porn and whoring overtook /b/ in about 09-10, pol started gaining steam around when that happened.

The main difference was that back then trolling used to be a thing that was somewhat distinguishable from people's real selves, now everyone acts more inherently hostile at baseline.

Uhh within trans culture a lot has changed, the main difference is that youngshits are a huge thing now as are NBs, and even though not many people identify as NB, trans people have carved out a sort of niche for ourselves within gender and sexuality which means gender is objectively much less binary. This comes with both good and bad.

For the record I am not the oldest old fag around, the truest old fags are in their early 40s. I was a little kid

Been here since 2005. Have been using /lgbt/ since 2013. I was a usual /a/ and /v/ and /cgl/ visitor too but soon only /v/ and /lgbt/ interested me.

Now in my 30's and have been on HRT nearly 10 years. It's fun irl when some late teens or early 20's person talks about 4chan and the 30's asian "hag" (from their perspective) reveals she's been using the site for 20 years.

Some older tttt memes 2016-2019 trace back to me too so sometimes babytrans will be like "oh my god your meme made me want to finally transition / girlmode / whatever" it's pleasant.

Im old. one of my ex bf’s from HS briefly got me into /b/ back when it was just prank calling Pawn Stars asking if they had Battletoads and stuff like that. hadnt used the site since desu. been living a pretty heteronormative life away from queer spaces for a very long time. started lurking on /tttt/, trans reddit and Twitter, kiwi farms, etc in the last 6 months to see what the online discourse is actually like with all the trans stuff going on in the news. almost everything i read here is deeply concerning. but i kinda love train wrecks and drama so it’s hard to look away sometimes. this place is full of crazy ppl and it’s both really sad and really amusing how messed up some people are.
