these posts make me sadder than I can say
not because I'm bothered by them, but because I hear the repression in you
of what I don't know--gender identity issues, sexuality, something else. but you are repressing something, quite possibly your own gender dysphoria
whatever it is, you bury it under an obsession with others' lives that grants you nothing and costs you so much peace of mind
do you put this much energy into young adults getting face tattoos or extreme piercing?
into college-bound kids picking unemployable majors?
into women getting breast augmentation or reduction, cis women getting voluntary hysterectomies?
>what a grotesque exploitation this is, to give a man lactating breasts but no child to feed with them because he has no womb, no ovaries, cannot get pregnant
what I hear in this rant is a sense of injustice I can't imagine anyone having but someone directly affected by it--someone who wants to have a baby but can't?
>no womb
my boyfriend and I will adopt, or use a surrogate
>his means of having children is to impregnate an actual woman with his male genitalia because he is a man
not a he, but unfortunately, the decision about whether to have kids was made for me before I transitioned. I'm natally sterile. probably a genetic defect
>cannot get pregnant
many women can't. we find ways to cope, because for many of us, we just have love to give, it doesn't have to be to a bio child. god loves kids up for adoption as much as anyone and I'd love to love one of them
if I end up breastfeeding my own (adopted) child or my boyfriend's child we have with a surrogate, great. if not, I'll donate the breastmilk
or are you so ignorant you didn't know that was possible?
or so selfish the thought would have never occurred to you?
maybe what someone like you just can't understand is we don't need to be cis women to be happy or to do more good in the world than we would have done as men
