With the kanas at least, what was kinda enough for me is that after I had memorized them and could recognize them, I looked up this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wD3FJgij79c and basically really tried to follow how the hiragana were supposed to be written in a really detailed way, like every detail you can notice about where the strokes start, what other strokes they cross, how you loop them...
