I hate how performative pride is

I don't want a whole month to be special and make everyone treat me like I'm special, or parades in honor of my sexuality. I want to be treated just like everyone else. Surely I am not the only gay guy who thinks this.

Yeah, but I think it's nice to have a month to remember our history, especially with how hateful the world is becoming. I don't care much for pride, but I think it's a good thing and I'm glad it makes others happy :)

I use pride month to troll poltards but besides that I don't really see a reason for its existence besides pissing off anti-lgbt. I think that's the sole reason it exists tbqh.
