I have been ignoring many things in life, but worry not, for I will continue to ignore the general and the wiki as well. For those of you interested in my life debacles, the wall is coming along well. For those of you not interested, too bad now you know.
I have been slowly looking into options for mediawiki versus PMwiki, though the fact that i cannot password-protect certain pages on the mediawiki site does give me issues for adding and assisting new moderators with sites and passwords, etc.
Work-arounds I have found for this include adding a moderator-level forum page on the /wcg/ forum, which admins could add user permissions to access. This bears thinking about, but would not be as simple as just having moderator and administrator level passwords across the wiki, like our current PMwiki site uses.

anyways, i think i'm going to log into the forms and see if there's any new submissions to add to the wiki. Anyone have any they want added?

I don't know much about wiki software, sorry I can't help here. At a previous job, we were using DokuWiki and I had to maintain one for a while after the guy who put it in place left, but I never really got deep into it

Apparently that guy chose it because the wiki pages were stored as plain text files as opposed to a SQL database, and that made backups trivial
