I had to volunteer and manage a bunch of 16-17 year olds recently and a bunch of them were all Andrew Tate fans and I tried to explain to one of them that was a sex trafficker and he said that he thought it was all a conspiracy and that Tate doesn't actually hate women. Nice kid, they don't even have the brainstuff to understand the things someone like Tate is saying. They just like the guy on the screen, like most NPC normies. The kid himself wasn't even bad, would never talk shit about the women in his family and loved his mom and took care of her when she was sick. Had no problems with me teaching him stuff and was humble, and I'm a woman. It is what it is.

A big part of it is just edginess though. It's bad that young people are into this stuff, but I think taking it too seriously is bad. Young people like stuff that's radical and that their parents hate. I think the best way to understand these people is primarily as immature, and that goes for people into their 20s. These people are into the manosphere and fascism for the same reasons I was into satanic imagery and communism when I was young. The healthy ones will probably grow out of it, which isn't to say it couldn't have negative long term effects on how and what they think.
