sex & personality have to be linked IF you're a natal male. men will never be allowed to express themselves femininely because humans are hardwired to be scared & suspicious of a visually masculine male who acts effeminately. that combined with the fact that males with testosteronized sex drives act clingy, rapey, and perverted only further cements the fact that men will never NOT be viewed with heightened suspicion in all scenarios.
the TERF movement views this issue from a female perspective, and since women dont face nearly as much scrutiny as males when acting GNC, women dont really need to change their appearance with hormones or identify as men to act masculinely, so its understandable. for a real world, easily identifiable example of this: its common belief among conservatives around the world that lesbians are A-OK, but gays are disgusting and need to be killed.
on the other hand, if a male wants to express himself femininely, its in his interest to chemically castrate himself, take cross-sex hormones and even maybe identify as a woman to make himself less repulsive to society. said hormone treatment if done PROPERLY will also heavily tone down his sex drive, making him much less of a risk for sexually assaulting others. THE RAPEHON PROBLEM IS CAUSED IN MAJORITY BY IMPROPER DOSAGES BY NEGLIGENT DOCTORS, (in all caps so you read it) though trans spaces instilling a sense of entitlement & narcissism in said rapehons, and "you dont need HRT to be trans" types are also a problem. specifically the idea that anyone can identify as trans at the flip of a switch without even taking estrogen is obviously abused by criminals to get easy access to female prisoners.
note that i dont actually believe males can LITERALLY become female but its in polite societies interest for more of them to transition (as long as they take proper doses of HRT).
