They probably identify as some flavor of queer and so they will gravitate toward piercings and tattoos or gem stones and mushrooms. It's just the alt ppl.

many of the alternative lifestyle types, think the kind to get tattoos and piercings, identify with lgbtqia (not lgbt because they're not lgbt, they're qia).
