I so wish I was a real boy, and had these solid male friendships on discord and in real life, where everyone seems to be having fun with no filter and no hypocrisy. I can only see that from a distance, and it seems deep to me. But even if I take testosterone, boys will never see me as a real boy. They'll probably talk about me behind my back, and won't be natural.

you have a very rose-tinted notion of male friendships

most male social networks are superficial, lack intimacy or any emotional depth, and are full of posturing and hypocrisy

if you want authentic deep friendships you have to purposefully select for those and nurture them regardless of your gender
