Anyone else feel like boomers and gen Xers are tolerant of you than zoomers and millenials?

I live in South florida and the people who harass me in public almost always tend to be in their 20s or 30s.

Boomers and Gen Xers are old and have low hormone levels, they are too frail to risk getting into a fight with a deranged lunatic on estrogen.

But a healthy younger generation from 20-39? Yeah they are going to be much more willing to confront and mock you openly.

Don't mistake silence for tolerance though, the older generations would be much, much worse if you gave them younger bodies again.

I remember being active in trans communities online when I was a teen back in 2010-ish and the difference between then and now is just mind blowing. I don't even know what to think about that.

Definitely in terms of men. In terms of women it’s the opposite. The older they get the more like they are to be a problem.

Yeah, I guess people were nicer? I wasn't on hormones in my childhood but I was pretty girly but people didn't outright try to be aggressive towards me. I'm from a conservative state too and I was never harassed as a kid. People did used slurs but they used the f word more than they did the t word but those usually came from other kids, not adults.

I never really interacted with trans people irl back then but at least online, most people were attracted to men.

I guess people cared more about how they look in general than just passing?

Also there weren't any trans accountants, engineers or programmers. If you're a trans girl there was a good chance that you made really negligible amount of money or you did sex work lol
