wait this is what's happening to me irl. she came over and forced me into the slinky black dress i had left over from my bestfriend's wedding and made me do makeup and we went out to a bunch of bars and ended up at some afterparty for some rappers bday and did coke for the first time. i normally dress like a guy these days bc i'm lowkey detransitioning but it was fun to have an actual girls night out for once. ironic it happened after i already gave up on pursuing that kind of thing.

true, i just use alts and try to get to know people more in depth before adding them on main or meeting them, that would probably help weed out that kind of stuff. but yea meeting new people is never easy, the process kinda sucks and often goes absolutely nowhere, but i got really lucky with the girl i found and now im having a great time. i do get wanting to avoid friend seaeching stuff tho. hope you find frens one way or another eventually!

i personally only use tagmap, so it depends on the tags youre looking at. as of getting added by people, it only happened twice for me, and both times were mtfs that were actually my friends that didnt realize it was my alt lol

actually havent made any actual friends myself now that i look at it, but ive mostly been adding people from abroad.
instead i made friends with a girl from frengen who has herself made friends through tagmap, we have a small discord server and hang out at bars usually around every week
there is a few people from there i havent met, but aside from that theyve all been computer autists, which works very well for me honestly (my kind of people)
i did not have a single irl friend before that so its been pretty cool i guess
