I never stopped caring. You were the most special girl in my life, my true soulmate and significant other. I always believed in you. You had amazing dreams and I shared all of them and wanted to be there to see all of it come true. I never wanted to give up on you or abandon you. I only left because I was scared and betrayed. No other girl will be able to replace you. I will never forget you. I would do it all over again. I saw your post on 4chan just now and I'm tearing up, because I know you didn't mean to lose me, I know deeply in your heart you never wanted to betray me. Everything you said is true, I saw something in you no one else could see. I gave you my love and trust and wanted to see you bloom like the beautiful flower you truly are inside. I never performed anything Lucy, it was as real as the Grand Canyon we saw for the first time together. I hope to see you again one day.

Leaving fucked everything up. I truly had no choice, I was backed into a corner. I was savagely kicked out of her parents' place and they were threatening to call the cops on me. She lives in a different country and I was immigrating there, I had to fly back. If we can get back together it would be a miracle.

She would have to do a massive change when it comes to infidelty, loyalty and her self esteem. She always thought I was a fed and lied about my love, she couldn't appreciate all the cute little things I was doing for her because she was always afraid I'd leave her. She treated me quite harshly frequently enough that I lost some of myself. I didn't laugh as much anymore, I wasn't as happy. She had some issues from past relationships and childhood abuse that came up in our relationship, and it was really really hard to deal with and she wasn't always supportive in my quest to help her undo those bad habits/overactive defense mechanisms.

I wish I wasn't pushed to leave. I wish I could cuddle her right now. It's tragic, so tragic.

Please don't let this thread die, I want my wife to see it.
