sorry to take it to lgbt but this is probably the board with the densest population of makeup knowers so.

I have a big event in about an hour but I have real bad acne. I've also never used makeup a single time and I've stolen a bunch of stuff from my sister. what on earth do I do here

Lmao. You could try layering primer, concealer, foundation and then powder to hide the acne. Or you could just accept you have acne and that it's pretty normal and nobody else worries about it as much as you. Also if you use her makeup you might give her acne too

Don't bother hiding all of it, spot correct and conceal the worst of it unless you're going full glam because if you're a beginner there's no way full layering, foundation etc will look natural esp if it's not even your own product

But what do you mean really bad acne? If it’s one big pimple you can use a little concealer on it, if it’s everywhere just suck it up and start a better skin care regimen when you get home
