but gender, sex and those things are not just one thing, when you say "sex" youre talking ab three technically unrelated concepts and neither of them are binary, and this happens to almost all of the concepts used in biological and social sciences(idk if it happens in exact sciences) so things are much more difficult than it seems, but instead of saying "fuckit i am what i am and labels doesnt matter" you should understand that labels are important to science and thats why science still use them

The association with homosexuality drags down trans people in Muslim countries for instance because Islam much more explicitly denounces gay people while being more open to trans people.
