based, this is what i'm doing. i've started lifting weights for the first time in my life, i bike for an hour most days and i'm about to join a HEMA club. neglected my body and mind for too long and i'm about to start unfucking both of them, i've already lost weight and gotten back into the healthy BMI range and i feel and look much better. can't stress enough how important strength training is for trannies, i mean for anyone but especially us, no sadder sight than cardiohons who run their way to hank hill asses.

i'm mostly talking about hons who do no other exercise apart from running and eat like 800 calories a day and think it's going to make their skeleton shrink somehow. yes gaining fat helps, so does gaining strength though.

225 is 1/2/3/4, which is like the standard baseline "fit" for men who lift weights
but it's still really uncommon because most people don't lift

Being able to bench a lot is on par with being able to do a lot on the leg press machine. It sounds impressive if you ignore the fact that most obese people can do it without much training.

Get back to me when you can bench 225 *and* do a century ride in < 6 hours. I mean a century ride, not a metric "century", obviously.

but do they look fat? I could gain weight and probably go for a higher squat but the stronger men/women at my gym usually have some weight to them that makes them look pudgy.

I try to avoid that by not bulking.

Repping 225 is pretty common in gyms, even commercial ones. If someone goes to the gym at least 2 years it's kinda expected to him do between 8 and 12 reps with 225

I mean, when i go to the gym everybody kinda does their own thing. When I see new/confused people, everybody either let's them do their workouts or help them if needed. You have some asshole but those are super rare. Only ever met one asshole in the gym my entire life and that was when I was just starting.

I will say that idk how it will be for trannies though. Idk which locker room you'll go to when setting up or changing/showering. If you go to your AGAB locker room, you might get some strange looks. You'll definitely get some strange looks if you go to the opposite locker room.
