I trust tranny Catholics more than I trust cisgender Catholics. The trannies are less likely to be insane larpers and more sincere in their faith

Would you trust a tranny Anglican/Episcopalian? I don't really believe in papal supremacy despite agreeing with veneration of saints etc.

i keep wanting to go back to church but im worried about being rejected bc im trans (ik this is unreasonable and not how it works), especially since i haven't gone since i was a teen and will probably easily stand out. I just have this draw to it and i think i would really benefit from reconnecting w my spirituality and a community around it.

I didn't say I understood the psychology of transgender Catholics, I just said I trust them more because they at least seem to actually believe in God, unlike most Catholics I've met

faith is literally upholding the unfalsifiable over delusion, it's dangerous and worthless

i haven't really figured out how to but i also don't want to compromise myself or my religion. im hoping to find myself at peace w who i am and at peace w others rejection, despite how scary that sounds.

when i go to mass its just kind of depressing cause i have to cross my arms for a blessing because im a homosexual and i cant go to penance because they would want me to detransition or leave my partner and i cant do that. it's just a humiliating experience.

Go to God with your concerns.
O Heavenly King, O Comforter, the Spirit of truth, who are in all places and fill all things, the Treasure of good things and Giver of life, come and abide in us. Cleanse us from our stain and save our souls, O Good One.

i was raised catholic, used to go to sunday school and service every week until I was about in middle school. when ive spoken to ppl in my life they suggest i try other churches, like UCC or Episcopalian, but I just feel very attached to Catholicism for some reason (plus a lot of my family are very catholic). Since I stopped going I always kinda considered myself agnostic, i think maybe i still am but ive also been doing some praying recently and have been framing more of my thinking around religion. thats all to say im still really trying to figure things out, i just got to get over the anxiety hurdle of going back to mass

The Episcopal Church has a lot of churches that are basically identical to Catholic ones without the papacy or conservatism

and thats what ppl keep telling me, but i have this unclear aversion to going towards any other church. ig i feel very attached to catholicism specifically. Maybe i would get something out of returning to some institution that does in some way reject me; i might just be seeking a certain approval or maybe its that continuing on with catholicism as a transwoman in spite of the views of the church would itself be important to me. i really don't know what it is im looking for, i just know that i am looking for something

Ok, do you want to be a Christian again because you fully believe Jesus Christ is God, that there are no salvation outside the church of God and that if you follow the Church you will get life after death in heaven or you just wanna be accepted inside a community and have a family?

I view crossing the arms for a blessing as quite based, and I suspect most Catholics would agree. It only causes my opinion of someone to rise. Shame about confession/penance, and it is quite rough not to be able to fully participate in the sacraments, but I wouldn't worry about what others think.

What are you trying to figure out of your faith and what is your end goal with religion?

Protestant myself, but yeah it makes sense that trannies would be sincere because there's not much incentive at all for a tranny to profess this outside of genuine belief

I don't really have proper advice to give you, but I can personally relate even though I'm not trans; I'm just a bisexual from the Philippines. Over the last year or so, I have been exploring my spiritual side because of some weird urge I don't fully understand, and I have mixed feelings towards the Catholic Church and so have been reading about and exploring different denominations and religions. For the first time in my life last week, I attended a Sunday session of the Philippine Independent Church, an offshoot of the Catholic Church with a long history that is now a part of the Anglican Communion, and mostly had a good time. The priest was quite friendly even though I didn't actually talk to him. I am not committed though, and sometime next week, I think I'll attend a Sunday sermon of the United Church of Christ, a mainliner Reformed/Methodist church, close to where I live in the city if only to see what else I am missing.

All of Catholicism is just whatever bullshit the Romans came up with to stay in power despite the Christians taking over their society. It has nothing to do with the word of Christ and will always be nothing but propaganda for political power from a dead kingdom. If you love Jesus and accept him as your savior you'd be any other sect of Christianity.
