2. shaving exists
3. skinny, feminine men exist
to be honest ive met a lot of ftms who think well i dont wanna be hairy and muscular and bald so im gonna stay female forever and it just doesnt really make sense to me because like. if a cisgender man (not a repper or a closeted trans woman) was tired of having chest hair, he wouldn't castrate himself, go on estrogen, grow tits, and live as a lady, he would just shave. you can just shave. you can just take finasteride. you can just not work out. just because you're taking testosterone doesn't mean you're being held at gunpoint and forced to be masculine. testosterone changes your sex characteristics to male, it doesn't make you obligated to fit in to what society's ideas of men are. i don't care about what men are supposed to do or look like, i care about my body being male first and pretty second. and given it's completely possible to be a pretty man as long as you have the genetics (and i do) i'm not really concerned with anything else.
i like a lot of the things testosterone does. i like my deep voice, i like my heightened sex drive, i like my energy and strength and confidence. the things that i don't care for (hairiness and sweatiness, mainly) are easily combated by a million different easily available products otc. even hair loss can be prevented or reversed
anyways, sure, some people don't have the genes to be cutesy and petite and still pass as male, but i do, so i don't care. if testosterone really instantly turned you into a massive balding silverback gorilla there would be way less ftms who are 6 years on t and still look like little pixie tomboys. their genes are their business and mine are mine. shrug emoji
