I need hair advice.
In your opinion, do you think locs makes black women, cis or trans, look more masculine?

I'm thinking of locking my hair but I'm worried about it making me look masculine.

Picrel is what I'm working with.

i think locks CAN be more feminine but i'm not an expert on black hairstyles. in any case i think for feminization's sake you need to cover your forehead, first and foremost <3

I guess it depends on your overall style. I've seen black women with dreadlocks who look feminine while some others look more masc (still hot af tho). I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you want them, go get them girl.

The style/texture isnt the problem here, its your hairline and the small amount of hair you have. I am quite sorry for you. I think there has to be a way to fix it though.

I have a ton of hair and cis black women usually have higher hairlines than whites.
