I've gotta take meds for my arms not to shake, but when they started making me black out randomly I had to tell my doc and find an alternative medication. If I were locked into passing out once every few days randomly my life would be way scarier and I wouldn't be able to drive. I wouldn't take that deal, fuck that. But I could change my medications, and I'm worried that people transition ftm and don't realize some of the shit that can entail that you just don't know about ahead of time.

if you transition medically it is most likely you will be made forcefully perfectly aware of every possible complication. endos repeat it when you go for a consult, they repeat it when they prescribe it to you, they repeat it every time you go back for a checkup or to change your dose. every single time i've visited my endo after being prescribed hrt i've been given a form with a checklist of every negative symptom of T to check off if i'm experiencing. it even includes positive/neutral symptoms like body hair growth and weight gain. i understand your concern but that just isn't really what transitioning is like
