The median American voter is incredibly stupid and highly malleable. They have no real political positions of their own beyond "milk costs too much." Everything else, including the current anti-trans wave we're seeing in the US right now, is primarily derived from whatever they last saw on social media sites like TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. There's no real thought put into it. They're just dumb. They've always been dumb. And if you want the anti-trans attitude of modern American voters to change, you've got to find a way of doing so that makes sense to these dumbasses. (And to be clear, they won't read peer-reviewed studies showing gender-affirming care's effectiveness, and they won't listen to you if you use "big words." They'll just disregard you as an out of touch big-headed elite.)

That's why the government should not have much more limited power over individuals. The idea that natural rights like what you put in your body are up to a vote is disgusting.
