I understand why you might feel that way, but it saddens me to know you can't put your hatred aside and celebrate yourself. I hope you can go someday.

Why celebrate yourself around a bunch of crap, when you could celebrate yourself and others with the ones you love without going to a pedo festival

Nta, but I don’t have any pride and a lot of self hate and hatred for the lgbt “community”

> Luck
Luck is a big part of doing anything involving others, but having a good personality and conversational ability goes a long way too.
Finding people with simmilar interests and hobbies is not that hard lol

So do I. I went to pride yesterday despite my hate though, and although I felt ashamed and weird at first it was a fun time. Kept the brainworms at bay. Maybe you should try it next year

Maybe it is probably a cultural difference because pride parades are nothing like a pedo festival to me? Everyone was really chill when I went, nothing inappropriate and I don't even think I saw a single kid
Anonymous No.40233469 >>40236094

As long as the kids stay away and people are not doing degen shit I guess do whatever, still not for me though, I would rather be proud of myself for other things than my identity

presumably the fact that you live in a part of the world where you're not being persecuted or treated like a 2nd rate citizen

I don't feel that should be a thing that is to be celebrated though. Am I happy about it? Of course, but to me it's like celebrating my right to breathe air

I walked through one to get to work and it was packed. I intentionally said "Excuse me SIR" to everyone in the hopes I'll offend a tranny. No reactions but I know I SIR'd a tranny.

well *it should be,* but that wouldn't be the case for you if there weren't people actively working toward that over years and years.

i understand that it's easy to be complacent but if everybody had a similar attitude you'd be watching shit backslide right now

Why do people fall so easily for slippery slope arguments? If everyone stopped helping our case there would be zero incentive to turn things back the way they were 50 years ago. There's just no incentive, we are already accepted. Even better than racial minorities so chillax man and just show me your cock

I'm actually just so baffled reading this that I don't even know what to say.
Are you here to pretend to be gay or have you been actively avoiding reading any sort of news or current events for at least a decade?
Did you know there was a pandemic?

The only people who are actually struggling right now are trans so it doesn't concern me. But they have never been accepted in the first place. My argument stands. I am confident once they get past that point their rights will be secure as well

Well you're factually wrong but I don't care to convince you.
However if you live in the United States at least, I would urge you to pay more attention to recently passed legislation and shit that's already been announced to be in the works- you're definitely not safe if you're a gay man.

Ah yeah i would not feel unsafe if i were you then either lol.

I live in and grew up in a conservative state witnessing openly homophobic discussion and seeing my friends harassed.
If i was visibly gayer (or stopped repping) then I know for a fact i'd be running more risks going out and lose a lot of relationships.
... so yeah it's not all peachy

I don't feel physically unsafe at the moment personally, but I've been paying attention to what's going on here and am aware that that may realistically not be the case in the future.

I went to the pride this year in Norway. Probably one of the saddest moments of my life. Everyone else was happy and celebrating, while i was a total doomer knowing i live in one of the least trans friendly countries in Europe

you sound like you are ashamed of your identity. this is why pride exists, because of trying to celebrate and put aside the widespread lgbtq feelings of shame.

Honestly banning sodomy may be needed to undo what the left has done.
Seems traditions are solutions to problems we forgot we had. We can’t survive another decade of “birthing people”
