What else is there to elaborate on? They are literal death cults. Bunch of mentally ill transbians living in the same house, cutting themselves together, doing drugs, fornicating. Typically the structure is one or two "kingpin" trannies at the top who are in their 30's or older that have actual paying jobs and own the joint, and all the other trannies mostly rely on the kingpins for money or do petty theft, push fent, etc.
It's common for the lower level trannies to recruit other prospective trannies, it's literally just like any other gang. They prey on mentally ill teenagers and convince them to start trooning out. 14-16 is prime real estate. They'll even lure kids into running away from home and joining the polycule so they can get on that estrogen. It's like crack to autistic males.
My guess is the polycules are feeling threatened now that Portland seems to be making earnest efforts to clean the streets. Lots more arrests being made, but also a lot more violence as criminals get desperate.
