easier, plus piercing the membrane damages the needle tip slightly so injecting into you after isnt as smooth.

You can draw with a small needle, it just takes longer. I just use insulin syringes and dont bother with buying multiple gauges.

if you basically just touch a needle it looses sharpness and causes irritation.

Also drawing with a thin injection needle take a long time
