i was just thinking earlier today about this actually. when my little brother and older sister were watching a peter pan live action movie as kids, my little brother said "he is cute right" and my older sister freaked out that he was gay. i was old enough to know you don't say things like that but i didn't care if my brother was gay and objectively he was cute but i tried to defend him to her saying something like maybe he was just wondering what girls think is attractive or something like that idk it was a long time ago but the point is that in my experience the homophobia did come from the women in my family

i agree, that's what i meant by simping. simping is a dumb word, i just wanted to keep the language concise to show across each point that it's not coming from within them unless they are gay. the usual closeted repper argument is something like "i'm not homophobic because i'm not afraid of them, i'm just disgusted by them" which is where i move to the 2nd part where it doesn't make sense to be disgusted by them. seems to indicate a sense of feeling threatened, which indicates repression and temptation etc. then the next step is they say something like "fags have diseases" to justify the disgust as if women don't and as if all gays are bottoms lol

It's like you would have to literally record everything women say and do to actually make a case. Sometimes I do wonder if I had recorded my mom abusing me if that would make her admit what happens. She just totally pretends nothing happened and everyone covers for her.
