i wonder how this compares to france. i lived in paris for years and i never really experienced transphobia from arabs (if anything before i started passing the group who were most likely to harass me were white french people), but they can be aggressive and hypersensitive. for some of them if you look at them for more than a second you're a racist basically. for the most part i've always found them polite and pleasant though especially since i started passing better. probably helps that my country is one of the only white countries to be pro-palestine and pro-iran so when they find out where i'm from they're happy.
