i found some photos of me just before i started hrt and i was so skinny. im really scared that estrogen might be actually making my body less feminine because of weight gain instead of more

depends how long you are on hrt & how cleanly you gain weight & if you can access pioglitazone.

E changes where your fat is deposited yes but about 10% of your body fat per year, so without weight cycling with or without pio & working out, you might just shoot yourself in the foot by gaining in a way that hurts you. This is why "Just eat" is harmful when told to tranners without histories of malnourishment or eating disorders.

i was ridiculously skinny before (not underweight though), so it's not bad for my health i don't think

it's just about how i like my appearance. i liked being a super skinny androgynous twink. i would rather be a woman but i don't want to be chubby :(

not to tell you you're wrong, but "ridiculously skinny" is usually bmi 14-16, ie severely underweight. I know bmi 18-19 is very skinny in burgerland but it just isnt noteworthy or a health risk. I am happy that you are confident at a normal weight though!

i say ridiculously skinny as in "people would think i was anorexic". including psychiatrists and doctors.

i think i just have an unsual frame. im really tall and it makes me look way skinnier than i actually am based on bmi
