Im at a crossroads of wether or not to detrans and I’d like to know how it worked out for other mtfs?
4 years in, ffs, total social transition and I still look like an effeminate man.
would just taking roids and getting jacked alleviate the dysphoria?
like my dysphoria hasnt gone away completely and i cant stand all the masculine features about myself that cant change with hrt.
I think going back to being an invisible man might make social interactions easier.

i detransitioned for 3 years and actually experimented with steroids like you're thinking of. it had its advantages and it wasn't all bad but at the end of the day no, it didn't fix the dysphoria and i did end up back on HRT. but fr do whatever you want, you'll either hop back on HRT like i did or learn to accept being a man. doesn't matter much either way.

Being detrans sucks, it has been the most isolating experience in my life. I cant even vent online without worrying about my issues being used as a weapon against my trans friends. Unless you really don't think you're trans anon, I would not detransition Anon.

Most people who transition don't do it without good reason, I'm just one of the of the few it wasn't right for but even then, I probably even had to transition to realize it.

Oh hey this thread is still up. Im a male detransitioner. You may not fully relate to me but I can give my experience. The only reason that is a good reason to transition is that you feel like you are less of yourself as a trans person and feel more yourself as a man. Only you can make this decision. For me, I felt very self conscious I never socially transitioned though just took hrt for 2.5 years, but I feel more comfortable and free as a man and dont have to worry about people knowing I am trans or what they think of me. It feel nice to not have to care so much

You can vent online and it probably wont be used against trans people. I do it all the time but I am obviously very supportive of trans people so there's nothing bad that I would say that could be misconstrued I dont think
