Normgroids have zero self concept and get 100% of their identity and personal validation from others and feeling like they're dying if they don't get it. This collides with individualism in an extremely odd way because individualism is the norm in the west, which now means that if whatever hyper niche bullshit you just came up with to identify as isn't also instantly validated and reflected in your social spaces, you can't live and you're being holocausted infinitely.
