The funny thing is that most non-bi transbians prefer fem4fem relationships and usually only find feminine lesbians attractive. (muscular/gymrat feminine women don't really qualify as masculine/butch taste btw)
I think the only transbians I know who are into actual butch women or women that you've described have been usually bi or bi-curious. (openness to not just masculine aesthetics, but males in general)
This is a type of behavior that cis lesbians don't typically exhibit, since they usually like masculine women without bi-curiosity coming into play with their preferences.
I can see where the TERFs are coming from. If you scope around lesbians posts that involve a butch4butch or butch4fem relationship that focused on the butch woman as the sex appeal, you're not gonna see many transbians on those posts.
Transbians are most likely to *be* the butch girl or adopt butch aesthetic though, but they don't often date butch cis women as a feminine trans woman. Usually it's a late-transitioning FTM or enby at best.
