i taught first grade this year and figured i should start writing my letters properly if i was going to be teaching them how to write lol so i'm still pretty new to a few of them. i don't always remember when i'm letting my hand work automatically; all my life i have naturally formed the characters P, F, B, e, d, f, h, b, and n backwards and i am trying to unlearn that

I write some of my family about once a week, and I annotate documents, keep meeting minutes 3x a week that are scanned for public record. While my handwriting is messy, I do care about it being legible.

I also know cursive. We didn't learn it in school, but I taught it to myself in high school. I used to be pretty good at it. Now it actually looks kind of bad. Your cursive is really nice! I can't tell your letters, though.

And I think your cursive is masculine, just because when I think of women's cursive today, it tends to be round and deliberate and basically connected print rather than this long and drawn-out old-style, angular business cursive, although I'm sure women wrote like that 100 years ago.
