Is it fair to say that being a bisexual man is the hardest alternative sexuality to have? It seems like people in general just hate us. Women don't want to date us, men don't respect us (like gays), gays are suspicious of us. But I think worst of all is that people don't even accept are sexual preferences as being real. They feel like men have to be gay or straight with no in between. At the very least a gay man's sexual identity is recognized for what it is, even if people only pretend to be accepting on the surface. But bisexual men don't even get that. The trans identity might actually be more accepted than male bisexuality, which says a lot.

for bi people, the act of sex is the gratification of the self where a partner could be substituted so long as it worships them thereby fulfilling their fantasy.

androphiles and gynephiles are attracted to their partner. hence they chase after and worship them like a madonna. but bi people are different. the reason they can go either way is because they don't feel that same sense of desire or obsession. the selfish lover trope.

like can a lesbian have heterosexual sex and reproduce? sure. she might just count the specks of popcorn on the ceiling because she's not into you while you do it.

but a bi person? they're obsessed with themselves and getting their own nut because they lack the same level of attatchment.

it can be seen as a heirarchal behavioral trait of beta's effectively. hence many bi men will bottom for other males and only top women. they're not attracted to the other male in the same way they're attracted to the woman so to speak. if the attraction was the same then they'd be able to top the male as well. sometimes they can, when the recipient male is incredibly femme, but that brings us into another discussion of decreasing masculinity in modernity.

Plenty of women are in relationships with men who are self-absorbed, they just don’t like bi men because they’re not comfortable with their male partners having sex with other men.

I agree that if anyone had a good reason to keep their sexuality to themselves its bisexual men. But I think it also depends on how much importance that aspect of your sexuality plays in your life. Some men will feel constrained or repressed if they can't indulge openly, while some can just have fun with men and keep it moving.

I also keep it to myself, but at the same time I'm so passed giving a fuck I'd probably blab about it at any moment. So I feel like for me its gonna come up eventually if I do meet a girl.
