As a lesbian I’ve met passing trans women in the lesbian community that did not get a sex change and had surprise penis. Thankfully that’s never happened to me but Jesus Christ the U.S. needs to go full J. K. Rowling with these people. I was talking to a young gay guy the other day and had to explain that I was talking to a girl that identifies as a man despite being born a woman and looking like a woman. He literally had no perception or understanding of trans shit despite being a zoomie and damn I wish I didn’t know anything either. I definitely wouldn’t have some deep rooted transphobia and be 100% an ally if they just did themselves without pulling shit in every fucking sapphic space that exists. I don’t even go to lesbian events anymore. I’m really starting to understand why a sugar mommy I temporarily had a thing with was a big republican.
