After a disastrous relationship with a cis woman, I met my current fiancee, who I've been with for about 4 years. We spend all our time together, do everything together, and plan our future through thick and thin. I started out as her top for several years, and although I was very satisfied, I didn't have a ravenous appetite of any kind, which sometimes made her question whether I was attracted to her. At some point, though, afters being severely traumatized years ago, she had a kind of overnight transformation wherein she would rather be more dominant than relive (even subconsciously) some of her worst memories. Technically I still bring the more assertive and demanding personality to the relationship, but she, uhm, playfully gets back at me quite often by humiliating me, dressing me up, and making me beg for it. When you really love someone, you grow and adapt together, being who you need for them--even on the level of sexual preferences. There's nothing in this world that could convince me a non-t4t couple could be as flexible or robust in this regard. Just know that, even avoiding disaster, there's nothing more disappointing ultimately than cowardice: whoever you pick, pick them with a plan to die alongside them, and failing that somehow, pick to die and be reborn again with another.

but yes, dating as a tranny is really, really hard, and t4t is no exception. it's just a numbers game: you're dating within a tiny little subset of the population (less than 1%), and within that subset you somehow have to find someone that you're not only physically attracted to but also enjoy spending time with. I think that's the reason the majority of transbians are poly, it's just that hard to find someone you can actually mutually fall in love with so they settle for short term hedonism instead
