Probably non-conventional feelings about their gender and/or trauma or kink of some type. I saw a youtube video years ago about a gay man who got nullo surgery and the two things I remember for his reasoning was him feeling like the size of his pp didn't match his personality (idk what the size was) and this memory of his childhood where when he was leaving the school bus, the kid in front of him turned around and squeezed his junk real hard for a second and ever since then he had some kinda mental dealio with his genitals. Sounds like a mix of complicated mental hangups around deeply internalized shame.

Very non-normative behaviors and lifestyle choices like this really make me question my beliefs about people and society. Like, it's a free country and a capitalist country, so they can do what they want and they'll always find a doctor if they're willing to pay. I get that everyone has a different way of seeing and perceiving themselves and the world and so I try not to judge...but stuff like this or other extreme body mods are just so...abnormal. Like, yeah, if they're happy with it and it's not hurting anyone, sure. And everyone's lifestyle preferences are subjective. But I just really wonder if extremely abnormal ones are really an expression of a healthy or unhealthy desire. And if they're an expression of an unhealthy desire, is it still ok if that's what helps them cope? Like, I got wacky bdsm sex fantasies and shit and I damn well know that part of it is just what tickles my pickle and part of it is trauma and shit. But also the way trauma changed me is here to stay, even after healing. And I'm still left with these desires. And I still want to engage in them. So who am I to judge? I think that extremely abnormal behaviors should definitely not ever become a laissez-faire thing in society because they need to be things that people think deeply about before engaging in. But if the individuals that engage in it are happy and ok...then I guess it's fine? Idk
