I got genioplasty and V-line jaw surgery, the surgeon removed a *lot* of bones from the back of my jaw/angle, and I am more and more realizing that it basically makes no difference.
From the front, my jaw still looks just as wide, and my lower face still looks long (long ramus).
From the side, the only real difference is that my jaw is much less defined, which is just ugly but not any more feminine.
Is jaw surgery actually a scam?

I also had jaw and chin work
They did remove a lot of bone and it should be a more feminine shape now, but it takes months and months (even a year) for the swelling to go and for the soft tissues to readapt
It's only been a couple of months for me so I need to be patient

it takes a long time to recover from surgery and for things to fully return to normal, i had a fistulotomy and my asshole didn't work normally again for over a month
