You can just quit HRT. You don't need to taper.

It will take a couple of months for your natural hormone production to kick back in, so you might feel tired or moody until then.

Tell them you have gyno its a legitimate male breast growth. Usually it happens to males in their late 30s and 40s but sometimes it happens to young people as well.
