there are definitely men who let their wives know they hit up a prostitute now and then or something. or if they don't condone, they at lest tolerate it. but in many places the western concept of total fidelity just doesn't exist so women will say "as long as he always comes back home to me". also people will different double standards.
at the end of the day in western society more women have most of the power in a relationship in the sense that men want sex more than women the majority of the time. by controlling access to sex because they are the limiting factor; they have the ability to "cuck" men because men aren't going to leave the person they love if a women opens the relationship.
most relationships are unequal and asymmetric, so one side always has the potential to cuck the other by making an ultimatum of opening the relationship or breaking up. the major difference is that when it happens to men he gets abused and bullied for being a cuck and when it happens to a women we are conditioned to feel bad for them and villify the gigolo man. its sexism all the way down.
