I never had that, or kidney either, but I would like to. To an American, Britain has a lot of unusual dishes, like haggis and others that have slipped my memory at the moment. But I try to be very open minded, especially when its cultural and historical in nature. That is, it seems wrong to turn my nose up at anything our ancestors survived from and considered delicacies and treats. Food is on my list of seven things a decent person would never shame another for. And organ meats are so often said to be nutritious.

Probably. My routine diet is egregiously bougie and typically low class if I am being honest, owing mostly to my own incompetence in the kitchen, though I mean to improve. Its just a talent I dont have, and am very ham-fisted, clumsy and lazy in the kitchen. I started learning much too late.
I have had pulpo and some other Caribbean dishes offered to me but I declined. I have opened up to the idea of lab grown meat now that I know more about it, but I still see food unrelated problems with it. I am not against the science of bug eating; I just dont like the insincere motives pushing it and their reasons. For that reason, I dont support it.
As for me personally, I do like my oysters which some do not. The only odd thing I remember eating was gator. My granny was very rural (I mean, *really* rural) and would make us squirrel and rabbit pies sometimes, which I thought was odd. It tasted strong but well enough. But it would still depress me when she served it because it reminded me of a pet.
I probably way overshot the topic but I was a little distracted, making my iced coffee and getting these chops ready, sorry.
