I've dated my own kind and other races and I've never had a dating problem that was in any way attributable to racial issues. But I've never dated a black, I probably should but they don't like it when you're like "I've never dated a black", it's like the opposite of a trans where you're supposed to say you're transphobic or they get the ick

That's a good point anon. This guy specifically came from an upper-class suburb background (his dad is a lawyer and does pro-bono work for the ACLU). He didn't act like a gangster-type at all and hated rap/black culture, yet still wanted to play the race card all the time. He was kinda nerdy, but more zesty
