I recommend against repping, but if you do decide to do so, I highly recommend disengaging with this community and seeing a therapist. The worst thing you can do is try to bury and ignore these feelings. Most likely they will just get stronger with time without you realizing it, until your coping strategies break down and it becomes crushing and overwhelming. When I was in your situation I saw people offer this exact advice, disregarded it, and now I'm really regretting it.
